RX1620 DVD Boot issues

I have an issue booting a DVD on an RX1620

the media in question will boot on an RX2660 (itanium) but not when used on either of two drives on an rx1620

the media is a dual-layer (> 4gb) DVD that has both the itanium and Risc installers on it, and has worked in PA-RISC systems as well

Does anyone have any suggestions?

In my rx 1620 server, the "ioscan -nfC disk" command outpout: disk 2 0/0/2/0.0.0.0 sdisk CLAIMED DEVICE TEAC DV-28E-N (...)

I believe that the DVD model TEAC does not support a double-layer DVD, in any cases: read or bootting.

Hi

Could you update the error message while booting.

did the rx1620 system detected the DVD drive?

Is it appearing in EFI shell?
