RX2600 problem on boot
Turned on our RX2600 w/ OpenVMS 8 and got a system RED light on the front. Will not even display the EFI. System diag from MP is attached showing what looks like some memory issues. Any thoughts or suggestions???
If it were "just" memory, then I'd get more...but what if it is something on the board that SUPPORTS the memory????

Re: RX2600 problem on boot
Looks like the memory modules install order is not correct. I would install the memory modules in the correct order as per this document
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=130&prodSeriesId=447335&prodTypeId=15351&objectID=c00252535
Note: All four DIMMs in a quad must be identical as well.

Re: RX2600 problem on boot
Hi Robert,
In the log I can see
15 SFW 0 *3 0x7680031B00E00110 000000001B1A0B0A MEM_DIMM_QUAD_MISMATCH

20 Jul 2009 18:45:24
18 SFW 0 *7 0xE08000D100E00160 0000000000000000 MEM_NO_MEM_FOUND
It seems like
The MEM_DIMM_QUAD_MISMATCH error caused the other error,
In config there is a recommendation that
" Infinion/Samsung Memory can not be mixed with HP Memory in the same quad", Check if something like this is there.
Or, as Sameer mentioned please check the memory load order. You may refer memory config guide and compare the exsting one if it is correct.

Sooraj U
