RX2660 Problems

I received a RX2660 with 2 1.4GHz dual core CPUs, and missing memory, power supply, and disks. I supplied all the above items (1 power supply) and the BMC log's last entry says BOOT_NOT_DETECTED. No error is reported in any log file. The only green light is the external health light, no other LED light is lit, besides the power button. There does not appear to be anymore error lights or log entries.

Can anyone tell me where to start or what to look for.

Re: RX2660 Problems

The message relates to a CPU not starting up for some reason. I would check if the CPUs are installed properly and their power connections. If it doesn't help I would try with only one CPU at a time.

The service guide would be a good reference.

Re: RX2660 Problems

Thank you for the suggestion. I checked and there seemed to be no problem with the CPUs. The system originally probably came with 2 processors as they share a power plug-in module.

Still the same results on boot.

Re: RX2660 Problems

What are the firmware versions at?

Use the MP SYSREV command to check.

Re: RX2660 Problems

I am sending the unit back to the person I bought it from.

Thanks for the suggestions.
