we have an rx3600 with hpux 11.31,default 8 internal port sas controller with firmware version 1.23.33.0,two 146GB sas HD configured with RAID1 mirror.
Some question:the system supports 300Gb sas HD?If my first mirror is configure with 146Gb hd,can i configure second mirror with 2 300gb hd?
I'm asking this because i've read on HP Product Bulletin that "All HDDs must be the same size and speed".
Thanks to all.Any help would be appreciated.
Sorry for my bad english...

SolutionIMHO this only applies to all disks in a RAID set.
Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: RX3600 with hpux 11.31 sas raid question
I've read rx3600 specifications on HP site and i've found 300gb HD part number (AM244A) but there's a note...
"300-GB 10K SAS disks will be supported on all operating systems in a future release."
So,this HD is supported from my operating system?
Thanks.
