RX5670 MP firmware upgrade

My RX5670 MP firmware version is E.02.10 (very old). How can I bring it current? I guess I need to patch it multiple times. Can anybody tell me the patch numbers?

As per the release notes of the latest iLO MP for this server which says follwoing:

CAUTION: Depending upon the currently installed MP firmware, interim upgrades to previous revisions of MP firmware may be required in order to upgrade to iLO MP firmware revision E.03.15.
This iLO MP firmware update will be aborted if the current MP firmware revision present on the system is less than E.02.29. In order to upgrade iLO MP firmware using this package, first upgrade the MP firmware to E.02.29. Please follow the upgrade requirements below:

If the currently installed MP firmware is older than E.02.10 then updating to MP firmware revision E.02.26 requires updating to E.02.10 first.
Upgrades to MP firmware revision E.02.29 will require updating to MP firmware revision E.02.26 first.
MP firmware must be at or upgraded to revision E.02.29 prior to upgrading to iLO MP revision E.03.15.
If the currently installed MP firmware revision is E.03.13 or later, the MP firmware update will fail if the "Allow MP Firmware upgrade via PCI" option is Disabled in the MP Security Options menu. To update the firmware using this package, enable this option in the MP Security Options menu.
iLO MP firmware revision E.03.13 or later is required to enable interface of iLO MP to HP Systems Insight Manager.


You can find the previous firmware versions once you hit the "Revision History" tab.

The MP firmware upgrade path in this case would be

From E.02.10 Upgrade to -> E.02.26 -> E.02.29 -> E.03.15

It seems that the f/w version is not available inside the "Revision history" tab in the link given earlier. You can download it from here as OS patch.

Thank you for your information. I upgraded it to E.02.26 successfully. However, I had trouble upgrade it to E.02.29. I applied the patch PHSS_30680 with no errors, rebooted machine. It still shows E.02.26. I reset MP, removed PHSS_30680, then reinstalled it. Still the same. What went wrong?

What went wrong?

This should be written on the console.
Try to read the console logs from the MP.

It is important to read and follow the release notes (clearing the MP logs etc.)!
