RX6600 Backplane Fan Amber
Hi guys,
I've got a customer having 2 RX6600, one of which has been acting weirdly today, 2 of the backplane Fans have the Amber fans on, and the server refuses to boot properly.
One tech there, swapped the fans from the other RX6600, but the amber lights on the fan come back after couple of minutes.
According to him, the server is giving a 'Cooling Unit Warning'
The room temperature is currently set at 16.5C which cannot the cause of the error, I assume.
Any ideas from your side anyone?
Cheers

Re: RX6600 Backplane Fan Amber
This could even be the fan controller on the system board ...
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: RX6600 Backplane Fan Amber
The cooling unit warning was given because of the 2 fans failure.
Can you post followings?
MP>CM>PS
MP>CM>SYSREV
MP>SL>F>T
System will not boot or rather shut off as a safeguard measure since there is 2 fans failure.
