RX6600 - How Identify internal disk???

Hi Guys.

I have a rx6600 server, this server have 6 internal disk. I'm only using 2 of this disk, no raid configuration was made on the Internal Controller. My question is, how can I identify wich internal disk match to a hardware path, because I need to remove two Internal disk???

Thanks in advance.

Re: RX6600 - How Identify internal disk???

hi,

check it with this command "scsimgr" , if you use LVM, or VXVM you could check wich disk are used and all other are not used.

Re: RX6600 - How Identify internal disk???

Just do

# sasmgr get _info -D /dev/sasd0 -q raid

if sasd0 is your controller.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

sasmgr get_info -D /dev/sasd1 -q lun=all

sasmgr get_info -D /dev/sasd0 -q lun=all -q lun_locate
