I have 2 RX7620 servers which shutdown themself recently. I checked their MP logs and found the following information.

I think you need to check who was in your server room at the time of the events?

someone definatly turned them off, or knoocked a pdu that they run through! but above tells me that someone flicked the switch

It is a bit strange. Both of my servers were turned off. I can't find out who did this.

I will describe Ur previous issue:-
1. Keyword: CABPWR_OFF
Description: The +48 VDC Power was turned off by the Guardian Service Processor Command, PE, or the cabinet power switch was moved to the "OFF" position. These powers down the cabinet immediately. Thus, the critical severity level.
Cause/Action:
Cabinet switch was transitioned to "OFF".
(Some one manual power off)
Recommendation:
Cycle power switch from on to off to on.
2. Keyword: MAIN_BP_LPM_OFF
Description:
The main backplane is reporting the LPM status as off.
Cause/Action:
None
Recommendation:
None
3. Keyword: IO_BP_LPM_OFF
Description:
The main backplane is reporting the LPM status as off.
Cause/Action:
None
Recommendation:
None
4. Keyword: CELL_OFF
Description:
Physical location of the affected cell 0.
Physical location of the affected cell 1.
Cause/Action:
The cell 0 has been powered off.
The cell 1 has been powered off.
Recommendation:
None
5. Keyword: CELL_POWER_OFF
Description:
The PDHC has detected that the Cell power has transitioned from an "on" (aka "good") state to an "off" state.
Cause/Action:
The service processor has directed the Cell to power off in response to a PE command.
Recommendation:
None. This event is for informational purposes only.
6. Keyword: POWER_SWITCH_OFF
Description:
The Cabinet Power Switch was changed from the on to the off position. This may have occurred purposely. It is listed as critical since it instantly removes +48 VDC to all entities in the cabinet. +48 VDC cannot be applied until the cabinet power switch is changed to the on position.
Cause/Action:
Power switch was physically turned off. No +48 VDC Power in cabinet.
Recommendation:
Place Power Switch to on position.
7. Keyword: MP_TIMESTAMP
Description:
MP timestamp event.
Cause/Action:
None.
Recommendation:
None.
