Re: RX7620 self shutdown.

I don't think this is a **self** shutdown:

Cabinet Power Turned Off By Command

Cabinet Power Switch turned off

Looks like somebody does it.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: RX7620 self shutdown.

hi,

I think you need to check who was in your server room at the time of the events?

Keyword: POWER_SWITCH_OFF
Cabinet Power Switch turned off

someone definatly turned them off, or knoocked a pdu that they run through! but above tells me that someone flicked the switch

Re: RX7620 self shutdown.

Thanks, Guys. I just checked my syslog.log and found this "vmunix: OS SHUTTING DOWN DUE TO A FW NOTIFICATION ON CONTROL METHOD POWER BUTTON OBJECT (PWRB) !!!!"

I tried to google it, but can't find anything. Anyone knows this?

It is a bit strange. Both of my servers were turned off. I can't find out who did this.

Hi,

>>> It is a bit strange. Both of my servers were turned off. I can't find out who did this.
==> Some one know Ur systems MP LAN password, I am not sure is it default MP LAN Admin/Admin password. If it is then U change the password just now.

6. Keyword: POWER_SWITCH_OFF

Description:
The Cabinet Power Switch was changed from the on to the off position. This may have occurred purposely. It is listed as critical since it instantly removes +48 VDC to all entities in the cabinet. +48 VDC cannot be applied until the cabinet power switch is changed to the on position.
