MP cosole got hanged? how to reset Mp cosole from OS of an Itanium box?

Go to the server and press the MP reset button.

Caution! If you press for more than 10 sec the default configuration is loaded.

i wanted to do it from OS side , is there any command?

I have done this with older N-/L-class servers, but this command doesn't work with Itaniums. So I'm not aware of a command to do this.

Can you telnet/ssh to the MP?

able to do telnet and ssh , but problem is consloe is hanged , unable to go to CM or CO? so i wanted to reset the console.

Are you sure that your server is up and running now ? Seems to have server got stuck..

You can try and power the server off and back on again from the MP menu. If you still can't get to the CO then you need to log a call with HP. They have had some problems with the RX series where the MP and the Server stop communicating because of hardware issues.
