Re: Rx2600 server system led umber
Take MP login and check power led status.
either check in /var/opt/resmon/log in event.log

Re: Rx2600 server system led umber
u can post the MP logs O/P here ,, just to see what are the alets and warning, they could be of transient nature and can go off by only acknowledging the MP logs.
to acpture the MP , logs , login to the MP as Admin / password Admin (that is the factory Default), enble logging or screen capture from the putty terminal.
u will go to the MP Main menu once u logon to MP (via Serial console or via telnet to the MP IP)
MP MAIN MENU:
CO: Console
VFP: Virtual Front Panel
CM: Command Menu
CL: Console Log
SL: Show Event Logs
HE: Main Help Menu
X: Exit Connection
give SL , E, T , L
this will show the logs in text format , u can post them here,
then will be helpful oto know about the Warnings/Alerts

Re: Rx2600 server system led umber
It would be helpful to know which light is lit.
Logs will show nothing.
You need to connect to the console ctrl-b and show the logs of your ilo/gsp/mp card.
This will clear the amber light. Amber normally means you need to read the messages. Reading the messages will clear the light.

Re: Rx2600 server system led umber
The Amber LED has gone and that has turned as Green as u have acknowledged that by reading the logs.
However on the MP Main menu , as it seems that one of ur fans is in a Fault State, can u give the command at the MP Main menu as
MP main Menu:> CM
this will take to the MP Command Prompt, onm the command prompt give the command PS to know the power supply status and the FAN Status of the system
CM>PS
this will show the Power Supply States and also shal ltell u the Fan Status.
IF Fan also says that still this is faulty log a cse with HP to get that further analysed and replaced.
Please assign the pount s to the replies.
