SUPERDOME SD16A
i have Superdome SD 16A (Single cabinet) ..how many hard partition can be configured on SD16A ?...what is the maximum number of I/O chassis suports .is it 4?...that means we can configure only 4 Hard partiitons ?..

The bigger models can have another computing cabinet and even external I/O chassis.

it may have 8 slots in the server, but you can only use 4 of them and it can have 4 io chassis. So that means you can only create 4 Npars

if the model shows sd16A, then you can have 4 cells active. Even if you have 8 slots, 4 can be used.
If you wants to use the remaining 4 cells (total of 8) you need to contact HP for changing the model number sd16A.

after backplane replacement HP support will change the system model to SD32A with a special lockword/password.
