Re: Superdome 2 CPU replacement

IMHO HP support will do this task, not you.

The partition needs to be down, the blade will be pulled out, the cpu and heatsink replaced.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Superdome 2 CPU replacement

There is a user service guide on he web only, service guides are not public.

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DocumentIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=101&prodClassId=-1&contentType=SupportManual&docIndexId=64255&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=4311905

However, sutdown and power off the nPar (and vPars within), the engineer will pull out the blade and replace the CPU and heatsink.

Hope this helps!
