We are having one Superdome2(ia64 hp Superdome2 16s) server. In this one of the IOX is showing amper LED.The OA syslog is showing thermal error.HP Solution centre also confirmed the thermal error. Now the temperature reduced to normal level. But still the amper led is glowing. Is there any way to remove this.

Re: Superdome2 error
As a first step do from OA
OA> show hr
OA HR> show indict
OA HR> show deconf
As said, for detailed steps ask your HP support!
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Superdome2 error
OA> show iox status
You will see the termal sensor status at the bottom of the output like following.
Thermal Sensor Status:
Locale Status Temp Caution Critical
--------------------------------- ------ -------- ------- --------
IOX Outlet Zone OK 30C/ 86F 37C 39C
IOX Ambient Zone OK 23C/ 73F 37C 39C

SolutionThis is a known firmware issue for the SD2 IOX enclosures. If the IOX enclosure is indicted, for any reason, and the reason for that indictment is resolved, the IOX enclosure status LED will remain amber.
In order to clear this amber led status on the IOX you will need to restart the OA.
Restarting the OA will force a re-discovery of the entire complex and clear the IOX's LED Status.
The resolution to this problem will be included in an upcoming Superdome2 firmware release.
