Swapping boot drives from Rx2600 to RX2600 server

We are attempting to swap drives out of one RX2600 to another and are getting

Loading of HPUX primary boot; 0/1/1/0.1.0 failed:not found

This happens both ways - swapping each server's boot drives with the other's. When we place the server's own boot drives in, the servers boot fine.

Is there some special switch that needs to be set? This should not be that hard.

Are you swapping the disk into the same location / path you mention (0/1/1/0.1.0)?

If not, check the EFI main menu where you can set the boot path. If your new disk is in a different place, you should be able to configure it and boot to it.

Sorry for the late response back. We ended up re-installing HPUX from scratch...

The driver are going in the exact same slots.
