The EFI option is gone. Does everybody know why ? Thanks.

My machine is HP RX2620 & Windows2003.
The Winodws boot option is gone When I shutdown and boot the machine. I am sure that No one deletes the EFI menu.

I maybe replace the RX2620 mainboard. Is it efficacious ?
Where is the EFI menu stored ?

By the way, the CMOS battery is dead and EFI system log shows that "The RTC was found to be invalid and has been cleared" .

The procedure had be operated and the The windows boot option is OK !!

My BOSS don't care the "OK".
He only care why the boot option is gone !!
I can't find the reason .
