Ultra SCSI 160 and Itanium rx2620

Hello
I have a problem:
On my ney rx2620 with an SCSI Ultra 160 Card
(A6828A) is a DS2100 (A5675A) connected.
During the booting of the server i only can see
the three internal discs. The three externals
discs are no available. After the booting, I can use all of the six discs.
For info: I want to mirror the system-dics for a later booting.
Any ideas ?
Thanks
Ralf

All discs works fine. Only on EFI I cant see all of the three discs so that I cant start from the mirrored system disc.

Re: Ultra SCSI 160 and Itanium rx2620

Hi Ralf,

there is a change with the new firmware of the rx2620. The external disks for which you don't have a entry in the Boot Manager Menu are not connected to EFI by default. After the server is at EFI just perform a "reconnect -r" from the shell prompt and you will see all the disks.

After you mirrored you OS, please create an entry in the Boot Manager Menu. If this entry exist EFI will connect the disk automaticly after the next selftest!

Udo
