Unix Partition in not turning ON

hi All,

i have an intigrity rx7620 with two partitions, cell 0 is for unix and cell 1 is for windows.

today i turned the server on but the cell 0 is not running, cell 1 in running normally

i tried to turn it many times but the partition is always OFF.

please need help

First you can connect to the MP and check the status of the cell using "ps".

If a failure is deteced, you should contact HP support and let them have a look into the MP logs.

Hi pierre,

1. Did you turned off the the cabinet or partitions?

2. What is LED status in front of server?

as suggusted by torsten pls. send the output for further analysis, besides that see the below mentioned service guide for HP Integrity rx7620 Server.

thanks a lot for ur reply, the client is not under contract till the moment so i will wait my manager to tell me when i can begin the diagnostics.

i have turned off the cabinet but same problem and led of cell 0 is on but the cell is OFF.

i will reply to your advices when i begin the diagnistics.
