Use recovery tape for new server and new MSA30

Sorry for my english, it's not my native language

For one of our customer, to manange a great disaster, we set a new platform on a new site but with same hardware configuration : rx4640 + MSA30.

As the hardware is the same, I would like to use a recovery tape from the current productive system to be sure that we have the same software configuration at same patch level.
Could you confirm it is possible ?

Yet, connected to the host, we have also a brand new MSA30 disk bay.
Do I have to perform some operations (pvcreate, vgcreate, ...) for the filsystems on the disks to be usable or the tape recovery is enough ?

Final steps, will be to restore data from a standard tar tape.

Any recommendations is welcome.

Hi Bertrand,

==> Yap, U does.

==> MSA30 storage is different process, U executes below command & sends the status:-
# /opt/raidsa/bin/saconfig /dev/ciss6

Hi BERTRAND,

Your first scenario is possible with Ignite tape backup if hardware is the same.

But in 2nd scenario as Mr.Yaqub asked please send the output.
