VGA & console output doesn't come

Hi

I have rx2620 server.Due to some wrong configuration in the MP, console and VGA don't display any output.

How can I reset the MP to default

Go to EFI shell and run "conconfig".

What do you get`?

How do I get to the EFI Shelf? I tried Control +B , but not output is displayed. Is there any key combination to log to EFI?

Did you power cycle the server? Until the OS boots, you get the output to all devices (MP, VGA ...). Once the OS boots, only the configured output will be used.

Hi Trosten

Nothing is displaying when power cycling the server. Only the curser is blinking.In addition to that system LED is flashing in amber colour.

At least , if it is displaying something on the display, I would have to guest something.Major issue is nothing is appeared on the display.

Can we reset the MP using any button or dip-switch?

Hi

I could log into the system using serial port in the server after disconnecting MP card from the system board. But I connect to the MP card to the system board , display is not coming up. I replaced the MP card as well, but the issue is same.

Could you guest why display is not coming up when MP card is connected?

Ir tried every ports in the MP card even VGA.But nothing is coming up. Only the cursor is blinking continuously. That is why I replaced the MP card & see. But the issue was same.
