Where is the problem...

I just received a RX2620 with no memory. The seller said it worked before he removed the memory. I installed some "new" AB397A compatible (4 x 1GB) memory from another supplier, instaled in the 0A, 0B, 1A, & 1B slots. I get a MEM_NO_MEM_FOUND, no memory found, and also a MEM_CHIPSPARE_DEALLOC_RA, dram failure on Dimm XX before it. The front panel lights are system led: flashing red, and the 4 diagnostic LED are: off, green, green, & red. The documentation says the memory fan 2 has failed (it seems to be running).

Any ideas?

The memory I received is labeled "AB397A 4GB kit 1 of 4", which is the model number for 1GB memory for the RX2620.

Does it say "dram failure on Dimm XX" or there is something useful instead of those two "XX" (e.g. 0A)?

Looks like the bad DIMM in 1B cause all 4 DIMMs to be disabled - no memory left.
