Which Server is better for SAP on HP-Unix

Hi,

I want to decide which is the best selection of Server with HP-Unix for installing SAP and Oracle as a TEST server?
We will not use it for production or day to day transactions purposes.
As we want to purchase a test server for SAP and Oracle testing, please provide your suggestions and guidance.

if you dont have a blade infrastructure, I'd recommend a RX6600

I always thought the perfect place for HP Virtual Machines, which is an integrity product, would be in a dev/test environment. Think about it, you can simulate numerous HW environments by adjusting the number of CPUs and other HW resources on the fly. Its perfect. Its perfect because it overcomes the rule that you need exactly the same dev / test server that's in production. Which is also your biggest concern. Why develope something in dev /test on a machine that's not exactly the same as the production environment? In some companies, this is almost a mandory given: Machines in dev /test will be the exact same model as machines in production.

Get a big enough RX #### Integrity box, big enough to cover your largest production machine, and you'll be able to cover all the smaller production boxes easy peasy.
