cell1 in RX8620 stops responding and refuses to power on

Hi,

Here is the error message bellow :

[uninitialized] MP:CM> pe

This command controls power enable to a hardware device.

T - Cabinet
C - Cell
P - IO Chassis
X - Complex
R - Partition
Select Device: c
Enter cell number: 1

The power state is OFF for Cell 1.
In what state do you want the power? (ON/OFF) ON


Cell board power disabled - incompatible processors/cell.

Error attempting to power ON : RtnCodeFailure

[uninitialized] MP:CM>


Everything has been working perfectly before till this happens

Please help.

Hi,

Was this after a scheduled shutdown, or did the machine crash?

Can you post the MP Error logs and FPL logs.
Also can you post an MP "PS" output.

Hi,

collect the below command output from MP for all cabinets and Cell boards:-

MP>CM:sysrev
MP>CM:cp
MP>vfp
MP>CM:io
MP>CM:PS----
MP>CM:SS
MP>SL
MP:VW>A
MP>SL
MP:VW>E
MP>CL
MP:CL>D

If possible send also Nickel output.

Thanks for U logs.

I have attached the analysis report.

BTW, if is not production server then U total power recycle (I mean system shutdown & power cord unplug) then after 5 to 10 mints later U jest power up again then see what is status.....

Before system shutdown send us MP event log├в ┬ж.

I have replaced the problematique cell board with a working one from a standby complex.
