co missing in mp for rx7620

Hi,

After my server crash. Cosole option in MP is
missing. please help me to recover .

MP MAIN MENU:

VFP: Virtual Front Panel (partition status)
CM: Command Menu
CL: Console Logs
SL: Show Event Logs
HE: Help
X: Exit Connection

I would suspect a h/w problem maybe specifically with underlaying console hardware.

Did you try to power off the server completly and start it again ?
Take a look at the event logs as well.
MP -> SL -> SEL

You might need to log h/w call with HP support to fix the problem.

By the way did you see any crash details?
server configuration ?

Hi ,

1. Try resetting MP through the Mp reset dip switch.

2. complete power off and power on the server.

3. Try resetting MP to factory default.

4. I hope in rc7620 primary and secondary MP will be there swap if it is not so critical server.

5. Parallely log a case and get help from HP support centre.

Thanks for the response.i've solved the issue.

The problem was the partition was deleted. so created one using CC option.

I worked fine..Even the os was retrieved.
