which OS is used on this system and in which log do you see this error (OS logfile or the hardware log ?
Do you have management agents running on this system ? is so what version.

The feature in RX2600 server is that if there is a fan failure it would also disable a powersupply unit aswell...
Here in your case i guess the fan is failing intermitently it would be better if you check and replace the failed fan at the earliest. The MP logs would confirm which fan is failed.
