Re: cpu"s failed in cell1 and cell0 on hp integrity rx 7640 server ( EFI SHELL)
Hi,
We need to find out when these CPU's failed and for what reason (any HW failures)?
Check below commands output.
1.MP > CM > ps output for Cells 0 & 1
2.MP > SL > Check SL logs for any failures reported (like CPU_POWER_FAULT)
3.From OS,
# parstatus -c 0/0 -V
# parstatus -c 0/1 -V
4.if you are not seeing any HW fault for CPu's,you may also follow this document and try re-configuring the cpu's.
https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c01052518
5.If HW falure found, then please log support case with HPE for review and replacement.

Re: cpu"s failed in cell1 and cell0 on hp integrity rx 7640 server ( EFI SHELL)
Hi
I could see System Panic (vpmon) and cpu 0 related messages:
CPU0:MON:cec_gen_get_proc_info: cpu not present or not functioning
FATAL:CPU0:MON:panic: Bad News!
cell1 we had 4 cpu's and on cell0 we had 3 cpu's:
And I could not see 0/0/0/3 CPU <<<<<

CPU Logical Cache Cache Model Processor

I could see many CPUs in Failed state..
Could you please confirm, is the system booted to OS?
I believe, this could be a hardware fault.
I strongly recommend you to log a support ticket with Hardware support

Re: cpu"s failed in cell1 and cell0 on hp integrity rx 7640 server ( EFI SHELL)
Hi,
So all the vPars are up now after restart? Also, all cpu's available now and no more panic's?
If yes and if you would need to find put why cpu's were missing before and vPar panic'd, then complete log analysis is required and I would suggest you to log a support ticket with HPE.
