efi on rx2660 boot disk

Hi

i have a rx2660 that had redhat linux installed on it. the original hpux boot disks were taken and stored.

I have recently taken over the site and the customer now wants the original disks again with hpux.

But when i put them in they will not boot when i do a map in efi the disks are not seen what am i missing?

Re: efi on rx2660 boot disk

Do you have any hardware raid in use (configured), e.g. a P400 smartarray or the default LSI chip?

What does "map -r", "devices" and "devtree" show?

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: efi on rx2660 boot disk

There are no disks at all.

Maybe there was a hardware RAID configured and it is now inactive. Go into the LSI controllers bios and check.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
