how to find free DIM slats in rx4640

HI Team,

We have one rx4640 server with hpux11.23, how to find how many RAM DIM slats are filed.currenty it has 16 GB I want to upgrade 8 GB, is it possible.

Try dimmconfig or info mem in efi shell

It is a critical server, three VM are running on this server, is it possible to check from OS.

Hi Ravi..,

All the DIMM modules are loaded as a quad
Dont know why you got a o/p like this

Ideally it should show eight DIMMs each 2gb like
0A,0B,0C,0D
1A,1B,1C,1D

rerun the cstm commands and look for o/p
