iLO installation on rx2620 under VMS v8.3
Hiya,
Does anyone have any ideas why the addition of an iLO module onto an rx2620 would cause it to start misbehaving and not get as far as the boot menu?
The server apparently goes through the power up testing ok, but never gets to the boot menu and just goes round in a loop time after time after time.
My colleague hasn't done any configuration on the iLO board, nor has he modified the config of the rx2620 since it was booting quite happily with a serial console.
Any ideas gratefully received before we log this as a hardware call with the Service Centre.
Thanks in advance
Steve

Re: iLO installation on rx2620 under VMS v8.3
I'd probably run a full reset to factory defaults on the existing console environment, and would ensure that the firmware was consistent and current across all of the widgets in the box, and would then work to select which console port was in use.

Thanks Hoff. I get him to give it a go.
