And there's no needed driver for SA. I think, i must install drivers for SmartArray, but i cannot find the manual, how to do it. Can anyone tell me, what should i read? And btw, i cannot find an efi driver in "Download drivers and software" page...

Re: install smartarray efi drivers
While I don't know it is up-to-date, if you go to http://www.hp.com/go/rx7640 and then click on options and accessories you can scroll down to a list of array controllers for the rx7640.

Solutionthe commands you used should indeed give you something like this:
for devtree :
Ctrl[53] Smart Array 6400 Controller
Ctrl[54] Smart Array 6400 Controller
for drivers:
4E 00000240 B - - - 1 3 Smart Array 5x/6x Driver v2.40 S=00 B=8F D=4 F=0 I=1
4F 00000240 ? - - - - - Smart Array 5x/6x Driver v2.40 S=00 B=8F D=5 F=0 I=1
(this output is for a SA6404 controller)
Can you try the following commands at EFI shell and see if that then shows you the Smartarray or not.
- reconnect -r (to reload all option ROMs
in the system)
- search all
Do you see the Smartarray BIOS banner when the partition boots ? Something like what i copied here below, if you do , then that is the time to press F8 (or ESC 8) to configure the Smartarray, alternatively you can also run 'reconnect -r' and press F8 at that time.
