integrity rx6600 server
i have installed W2K3-IA64(Raid 5) operating system in rx6600 server. when i was trying to convert basic mode to dynamic mode system asking for reboot, but after rebooting the OS did not come up .i ad observe following error message
"Windows could not start because there was an error reading the boot settings from NVRAM.
please check your firmware settings you may need to restore your NVRAM settings from a backup".find attached snop shot for the above observation
can any one help me to resolve this scenario.

this is a known issue, what happens is that
because the disk is converted form basic to dynamic, the partitioning numbering changes because some small extra partition space is inserted when it is converted, this is a specific Microsoft thingy.
So the boot menu EFI variables point to the wrong parition number (the old partition number) and not the new number that the Windows OS partition got after the conversion to dynamic disk.
This can be edited in a few minutes but requires some experience with EFI and boot menu manipulation with a hex editor so i advise to log a call with HP support to get this fixed for you.
