limit process on rx2600

i need set on my DB Serever Oracle (rx2600 with READHAT AS3 u3) to manage until 1000 processes;


apply documentation Oracle relative Red hat i set the kernel parameter :

kernel.sem = 1020 32000 100 128

and limit for user oracle to :

[oracle@bc0 oracle]$ ulimit -u
16384


my question is:

what is the limit of rx2600 to manage process?

you can answer this or evidence to me links that they document this information.
