HP Integrity and HP RX1620 server.one hard disk Failed. afther installed new hard disk . we are geting following error.

we shoud down server and removed 2 harddisk and inset new hard disk server and using hp setup and installation cd booted and and created paration in efi and mrs .it completed ..

atther that i instlled old two hard disk..

it went to Windows 2003 .atfter that i went to diskmanager and i removed defecite hard disk .and add new driver. i mirr the hardsik it completed Full .

your explanation isn't exactlyclear ot me, but i think what you are sayung here is that you have software mirroring and one disk failed, right ?

Then you used a new disk and created the EFI partition on it and mirrored the OS from the second disk on this disk.

The bootloader in the NVRAM will still be having the old GUID of the failed disk's partition, so this needs ot be corrected.

I advise you to read the following document very carefully so you understand what is happening in a S/W mirror with EFI partitions and GPT disks ,and see what part you can use to fix the first disk to boot from it again.
