Re: parstatus

how to configure the other cell board...

i have 2 cpu's in each of these cell boards..

Type : N/A
Speed : 1600 MHz
CPU Status
=== ======
0 OK
1 Absent
2 Absent
3 Absent
4 OK
5 Absent
6 Absent
7 Absent

CPUs
===========
OK : 2
Deconf : 0
Max : 4

If I create a hpvm guest here...Is it required to configure the other cell board as well or not... how may vcpus(max) can I assign to it and how much memory(max in GB) can I assign to it

Re: parstatus

Well you only have 2 cells, and they are both in partition 0....
cab0,cell0 Active Base 2/0/4 16.0/0.0 cab0,bay0,chassis0 yes yes 0 <--
cab0,cell1 Active Core 2/0/4 16.0/0.0 cab0,bay0,chassis1 yes yes 0 <--

Re: parstatus

The last column is telling you both cells are part of this single partition.
No need to worry.

A full listing of "parstatus" will tell you more details.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: parstatus

You can create a with existing resources.
You can have 2 vCpus and memory as per the availability.
