part number

I have an rx7640 with 2 300GB 15K drives on board. I was going to order 2 more, but am having difficulty finding the HP part number. They are GST3300655LC drives. How do I map that to a corresponding HP part number, (i.e. AB###-#####?)

Thank you in advance!!

Ron

Re: part number

Ron,

The server is abit too new for partsurfer yet in my opinion, but

you probably have AD261A product number drives.
http://www.partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?SearchText=AD261-69001

click on were used and it will show you the RX7640 server.

And I dont like the descriptions in this website, but there is some good pictures of the drives clearly showing the HP part number and the ST3300655LC seagate part number on them

Re: part number

Hi Ron
How about using the cstm tool to get the serial number of the devices.

cstm;selclass qualifier system,info,infolog

See the output and find the details of the drives.
