rx 8620 console hangs at partition 0

Hi All,

I am trying to get console using MP Login for rx 8620 server for installing OS using Ignite.

However i am not getting any response from console once i select partition 0.

below is the output.

Can anybody provide me clue for this hw error?

is the console hang related to this cell board fault ?

This tells you Cell 1 is in an unknown state, usually a hardware fault.
Also the other 3 cells are at BIB (Boot is Blocked), therefore your partition is unable to boot, and hence no console output.

best to log a support call with HP, seems cell 1 indicates some errors like : "Processor compatibility : fault"
and no sysrev information (all zeros)

So , this cell looks a bit sick.
