Re: rx1620

What do you use for serial connection?
When you press entre, do you get any prompt??
Check your settings.

1. Bits persecond-- 9600
2. Data Bits -- 8
3. Parity -- none
4. Stop bits -- 1
5. Flow Control -- none or Hardware
There is no substitute to HARDWORK

Re: rx1620

HI RAC

All correct, I configure those servers all day and use the same software with the same configuration.

When I try ctrl+B I can't see nothing, when hpux is started I see ^B.

It's sound like the server don't trap ctrl+B

Re: rx1620

Are you sure you have a MP?

This is not a joke, the MP/iLO is or was an option for some models in the entry server class:

Hope this helps!

Re: rx1620

Hi,

I suspect you have iLO MP firmware version E.02.22 or later.

In the E.03.13 version, the problem with ctrl B is fixed.

Refer following doc.
http://www1.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/patchDocDisplay.do?patchId=COL7234-UX-32240-1

There is a patch PHSS_33092 available for system, BMC and iLO.
