rx2600 Monitoring Card
Hello
I wat to configure the monitoring card.
After settinng the IP-Adress (and other parameters) with "LC" and reboot the card with "XD and Option R" all my settings are lost.
On other rx2600 is this ok ?
Any idea ?
Thanks
Ralf

Re: rx2600 Monitoring Card
Hm, is it possible that you have choosen an subnet / IP / gatway combination that is inconsistent (f.e. gateway is not in local subnet) ? In this case the final question is "Discard changes" and "y" results in a Cancel. Example:
Wrong:
New LAN Configuration (* modified values):
- - MAC Address : 0x00306ed605d7
+ I - IP Address : 15.140.9.164
H - MP Host Name : diablomp
+ S - Subnet Mask : 255.255.248.0
+ G - Gateway Address : 15.11.10.10
L - Link State : Auto Negotiate
W - Web Console Port Number : 2023
+ indicates inconsistent parameters
Enter parameter(s) to revise, or [Q] to Quit:
Discard changes? (Y/[N]): y
_______________________________________
correct:
New LAN Configuration (* modified values):
- - MAC Address : 0x00306ed605d7
I - IP Address : 15.140.9.164
H - MP Host Name : diablomp
S - Subnet Mask : 255.255.248.0
* G - Gateway Address : 15.140.9.163
L - Link State : Auto Negotiate
W - Web Console Port Number : 2023
Enter Parameter(s) to revise, Y to confirm, or [Q] to Quit: y
If my guess is wrong, could you please attach the output you get from the lc command ?
best regards
Stefan
