Re: rx2600, OS rebooting by itself
The logs appear to be from Nov 07 - do you have anything more recent?
Also, what are the outputs from:
MP>CM> SYSREV
MP>CM> PS

Re: rx2600, OS rebooting by itself
I have attached the file with output of those commands which you have asked to execute, and also I have attached the current and previous boot logs.
The date configured in MP is wrong.
[c122m178] MP:CM> DATE
DATE
Current Date and Time: 11/11/2007 01:08:19
[c122m178] MP:CM>
Is the wrong date set-up anything to do with my current problem ?
Thank you.

SolutionThere is something happening with regard to the clock in the logs:
"This sensor logs an event when an external agent asks to update the SEL clock. The MP uses this event to synchronize its own clock.
Time set, an external agent asked to update the SEL clock"
So,
It might be worth updating the date/time to something more realistic.
I'm not sure that you can do this from the MP - I suspect that you have to do it via EFI (DATE Command)
Firmware is a little out of date:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=447335&swItem=ux-46490-1&prodNameId=88839&swEnvOID=54&swLang=13&taskId=135&mode=4&idx=1
Let us know how you get on

Phil

>>>Is the wrong date set-up anything to do with my current problem?
==> As my won experience, MP date & time is not any effected Ur current problem. But HP all ways recommended U should update date & time in MP LAN.
I did not find out any error massage Ur MP Event log, I have only find out Ur system is only run one power supply. Can U jest confirm me?
SYSREV output:
SYSREV
Current firmware revisions
MP FW : E.03.15
BMC FW : 01.52
EFI FW : 01.22
System FW : 02.31
Ur existing firmware are latest, no need to upgrade I have already check.
Thanks--Yaqub

Re: rx2600, OS rebooting by itself
Look carefully at the link above.
Firmware IS out of date - but only slightly.
System 02.31, BMC 01.53, and iLO MP E.03.30
