Hi,
I have rx2660 and MP date is correct but MP time is wrong. I am accessing MP through serial console and want to set MP time.
Can any one tell me how to set MP date and time. When i run "date" command it only display me date and time but no option to set it.

Solution
Given your post appeared at 05:23 GMT, and the time you reported from your MP was 05:18 GMT, my guess would be that the MP does everything in GMT (UTC) and does not have nor apply a timezone adjustment. I seem to recall previous discussions along those lines.

When you set the date/time in the OS (the "date" command in HP-UX), the time is automatically converted into UTC according to your timezone/DST settings and copied to the MP clock.
The internal representation of time in Unix systems is fundamentally tied to the UTC, and the MP clock design reflects that.
