rx2660 Raid ADG configuration
Team,
I am unable to get adg option while configuring raid. I am configruing thru ORCA. How to get raid adg option as i had got 8 hdd. The controller is p400 raid controller. Pls help me out. Thanks in advance.
At the same i got a hint that thry ORCA it is not possible to configure raid ADG it should be done thru ACU, is it correct if so pls letme know the procedure of running ACU. there is no Os installed presently in server.

Do you have the Battery Backed Write Cache (BBWC) installed on the controller? It appears that you must have that in order to have the RAID 6 ADG capability.
From the "HP Smart Array P400 Controller" overview web page: http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12400_div/12400_div.HTML Addition of the battery backed cache upgrade enables BBWC, RAID 6 with ADG, array expansion, logical drive extension, RAID migration, and stripe size migration.
