rx2660 communication problem with BMC
I have replaced the system board on a rx2660. I set all the iLO settings and when I try and power on the server it fails to power on. In system status it says powered off and communication problem with BMC. No LEDs are on on the server. Any suggestions?

Re: rx2660 communication problem with BMC
If you can, do the following:
Connect to the MP and select SL.
Press L for Live Events and press U to display all events.
Now push the power button and observe the MP for any logs. If many scroll past, then exit and view the System Event log for entries.
Another thought is to reseat all of the components again (especially the CPU and IO backplane).

Re: rx2660 communication problem with BMC
Thanks for the tips Bob, but this system board is definitely DOA. I put the original board back and it works.
