Don't know why it rebooted on 14th at 23:43 -- nobody was on the system. Has anyone seen this type of error before? What's the fix?

Thanks,

John Petersen

Re: rx2660 crash

Hi John,

Can you please post the /etc/shutdownlog and /var/tombstones/ts99 files? Anything in /var/adm/crash/crash.x/INDEX with Nov 14 date? The INDEX file, if it exists, should give a clue as to why/if it crashed.

Thanks,

Re: rx2660 crash

>>>/var/tombstones/ts99 files?

>>>Anything in /var/adm/crash/crash.x/INDEX with Nov 14 date?

Re: rx2660 crash

MCA dump will be saved as /var/tombstones/mcayyymmddhhmmss.ccc. Th ccc is the CPU number. There is no customer tools that you can analyze MCA dumps. I suggest you will open an HP support ticket for troubleshooting.
