rx3600 W2k3 will not recognize any hard drives

I have a rx3600 with HPUX on it currently, but want W2k3 instead (or does anyone know if you can dual boot??). I ran the smart setup CD and it created the partition. However, during the windows install, it says it cannot find a hard drive. I have the 146gb SAS drives. Do I need to prep something in EFI first?

Do you know what type of SAS controller is installed in the server?

If you have PCI-X 8 port Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) host bus adapter which is supported with HPUX but not supported with Windows.

PCI-Express 8-port Smart Array (P400) Serial Attached SCSI Controller is supported with both HPUX and Windows.

Sameer, unfortunately, you are right, I have the SAS controller. Many thanks!

In general you can set up a "dual boot" (each OS on a separate disk).

Your workaround could be this:
install and configure Integrity Virtual Machines (test version available).

Doing this you can run HP-UX and Win at the same time on your system as guests.

Hope this helps!
