rx3600: on disk fail in IR Volume

Guys,
I've got a disk(two in total)satus light turned red recently,
hidsms:[/var/adm/syslog]# ioscan -fnCdisk
Class I H/W Path Driver S/W State H/W Type Description
====================================================================================
disk 2 0/0/2/1.0.16.0.0 sdisk CLAIMED DEVICE TEAC DV-28E-V
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0 /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0
disk 1 0/4/1/0.0.0.0.0 sdisk CLAIMED DEVICE HP IR Volume
/dev/dsk/c1t0d0 /dev/dsk/c1t0d0s2 /dev/rdsk/c1t0d0 /dev/rdsk/c1t0d0s2
/dev/dsk/c1t0d0s1 /dev/dsk/c1t0d0s3 /dev/rdsk/c1t0d0s1 /dev/rdsk/c1t0d0s3
what I need to do is just simply replace this failed disk? no need to concern about partition of the disk in 11.23?
I seldom deal with Integrity server before, I could not be told from status light of a hard disk in 9000 servers status of that disk(good or failed), so it is functioned by the SAS controller, which I never met in 9000 servers?

regards
Stephen

Re: rx3600: on disk fail in IR Volume

This should show you the status:

# sasmgr get_info -D /dev/sasd0 -q raid

(adjust sasd0 as needed)

Simply pull the disk, insert the new and check again - it should start to rebuild.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
