Re: rx4640 MP Error Logs
This is normal, if you open the top cover.
"Chassis door is open" - top cover opened
"Cooling unit warning" comes from fan 0
(loosen connection?)
"Chassis door closed" top cover replaced.
Just in case you didn't open the chassis - is the server racked? The sensor is optical and light sensitive. Is there a bright light around?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: rx4640 MP Error Logs
Thanks Torsten...
But chassis open~close messages are ocurred irregularly for long times...for example, in July 3times, in June 2time, in May 0 times, in April 3times, etc...
And obviously no physical chassis open occurred during 2007.
Thanks..

Solution
The sensor is here:
http://docs.hp.com/en/A6961-96011/A6961-96011-en.pdf
Figure 1-4 page 21
labeled "U5202 Light Sensor"
Any light source around?
If the sensor receives light, the system assumes the chassis is open.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
