rx4640 POST failure following CPU upgrade

hi guys,

Our server is failing to boot following replacing an mx2 module with a dual-core module. The server had only one processor and the new cpu module was installed in position 0 as well.

i updated all the firmware to the latest release and followed the instruction in the server's upgrade manual but i am encountering the following error on powering the server up:

The processor i am trying to install and the way i installed it is compliant with the server's configuration rules described on the server specs.

Torsten,

As regards the dip switch i checked it out before installing the processor and i found it already in the ON position. i'm afraid that in the hurry i misread the text... and the dip switch should effectively be in the OFF position and not in the ON position as i understood :)

i'll switch it OFF and check it out tomorrow. very silly mistake!
