rx5670 display problem
I've installed HPUX 11iV2 on my rx5670.
After installation, when I reboot the server, its reboots OK, just before login, monitor screen goes blank and says "Signal out of range". I'm using VGA console.
With Serial CON,it stopped responding suring the boot process.
Is there anyways I disable the VGA port and install the HPUX from CON.
thanks

Re: rx5670 display problem
Howdy,
Can you get into the setup of the monitor and drop it into "fail safe" mode? Failing that can you drop the reolution in the monitor setting to the lowest it will go to or find an older clunkier monitor?
HTH

Re: rx5670 display problem
I've tried that, attached old beatup CRT monitor, but same result.
btw, just for testing I've installed windows and it works fine.

Re: rx5670 display problem
Changed settings in EFI from VGA to vt100 on serial.
