rx5670 - how to upgrade the firmware of FCA2404?

Does anyone know what the correct procedure is to upgrade the firmware of an FCA2404 HBA (Emulex LP9802) mounted in an Rx5670 running Windows 2003 64 bit?

The HP manual suggests to boot on the Smart Setup dvd but doesn't explain how to include the latest firmware file. Emulex suggests using the 64bit version of lputil (lputil64) but there is no statement if HP supports this method. Downloading the latest firmware from HP's website includes the old lp6dutil dos-utility for firmware upgrading and I consider it unlikely I can boot an itanium-system on a dos-floppy :-)

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Terribly sorry for the mix-up on my part - the correct HBA model from HP when the LP9802 is for 64 bit windows is not FCA2404 but AB232A.

However I would still like suggestions on how to do the upgrade :-)
