When I run "cpuconfig" in the EFI shell I get "Sched Reconf" in the "Processor State" Column for CPU Modules 2 and 3. Also the "L3 Cache Size" column show None for CPU Modules 2 and 3. (see attachement)
I have tried just rebooting several times.
I've tried doing "cpuconfig 2 off" and "cpuconfig 3 off" in EFI, rebooting, and then doing "cpuconfig 2 on" and "cpuconfig 3 on" and rebooting.
All of this just leads back to the "Sched Reconf" state I mentioned above.
Also, errdump and the EFI console shows no errors for any of the logs and the system event log in iLO only shows "BOOT_CPU_FAILED" four times on each boot.
Am I missing something? What more can I do to troubleshoot or get these working?

Re: rx6600 doesn't configure new CPU's
According to the screenshot provided, all are dual cores with 1.6GHz speed.
But there is a difference in Family/Model and Rev number.
Suggest you to check if all the four physical processors are of same family, speed and stepping.
Thanks
I work for HPE

Re: rx6600 doesn't configure new CPU's
Do you have a suggestion on how to check the Family, speed and stepping?

Do I have the wrong parts, or should these be compatible? I've listed the relevant (compacted) output below.

SolutionThe following are "Montvale" (9050) processors:
FRU NAME: Processor 0-1 RAM ID:24-25
Product Name : MONT_C2_16 24
Part Number : AB578-2100B
While the others are "Montecito" (9150N) processors:
FRU NAME: Processor 2-3 RAM ID:26-27
Product Name : MTV_A1_1624
Part Number : AD388-2100C
Basically they are a generation apart. They are both supported on rx6600 but cannot work together.
